LOST IN MANILA

 Lost in Manila

After four years since 2019 i am now back in manila.

One of the cities in metro manila that are visited is manila. It is one of the oldest cities in the philippines. In manila you will see several all the buildings the night intramuros the manila cathedral and several others.

One interesting part of manila is malate. The vibe here is totally different as compared to the other cities and business districts in metro manila. In malate you will see most of the entertainment hobbes that you will never see in the other parts of metro manila. It is probably the reason why many foreign tourists wonder and get a lost here in manila.

The vibe also changes between daytime and nighttime. Many things surprise you warn you wonder around the streets specially in malate.

If you're looking for some cool and wild and venture in your nightlife the best thing to do is to get lost in malate manila.

THINGS TO DO upon ARRIVAL at MANILA Airport

THINGS TO DO upon ARRIVAL at MANILA Airport

1. Money Change or WITHDRAW. When I visit places, of course it is important to bring some money especially if you are unfamiliar of the place. It is easier if it is only within the PHILIPPINES. But if I travel abroad, I make sure I change money at the airport from Philippine currency or DOLLAR to the local currency of the country I am in. But for now, just withdraw some cash for some gala later today lol!

METROBANK & PNB branches ( yes, branches so you can do transactions while at the airport ) are located at the arrival area of NAIA Terminal 3. They also have respective ATM terminals.

2. CHARGE Powerbanks & Phones

It is important to charge your battery packs, powerbank, and/or phones before going out. You may need to contact important people while in MANILA and make sure you have enough battery life. Powerbanks help a lot in my travels as I do VLOGS for my Youtube Travel Channel ( TRIP ni REY ). SUBSCRIBE for my ROAD to 1000 subscribers 😭😭😂🔥.

3. Eat.

You are going out in the WILDS of MANILA haha! And its a long TRIP, so don't STARVE yourself. Or else, one day you will find yourself laughing while walking the long road of EDSA 🙄🙊🐒.

Restaurants are plenty inside the AIRPORT. Name it, you have it. But one fast food I love and visit everytime I am in Manila is WENDYs. Its not in Cebu and BOHOL yet and I love there choices.

There's one on the Ground Floor and another on the upper floor.

So once you've done these 3 basic things, you are free to WANDER the CONCRETE Jungle of METRO MANILA because, oh! Manila Never Sleeps!

First FLIGHT 2019 for #TRIPniREY!

First FLIGHT 2019 for #TRIPniREY!

I almost MISSED my flight.

Remember to check in at least 45min before flight departure time. I thought it was 30minutes. Ugh. Well I was a bit busy the past days for some errands and all, & it was my first flight for the year. The fact that I woke up 6am and packed for 15minutes from literally nothing. Showered for 60 seconds, yes! Challenge as always. Thanks to my brother and mom for sending me to the airport.

And, many thanks for the delay Cebu Pacific 5j620. Departure time was supposed to be 8am. Aircraft arrived Bohol Panglao International Airport at about 7:53am. It took off for Manila about 8:25am.

In my entire travel experience, I only missed one flight as far as I can remember. That was for Puerto Princesa, PALAWAN. That's another story. Video link here :

#SUBSCRIBE for my Road to 1000 subscribers, PLEASE! 😭

I had an amazing look at the developments  in PANGLAO Island while the plane was taking off and flying over Panglao Island. You can check the flight video on my Youtube Channel ( TRIP ni REY ).

Link of FLIGHT VIDEO here :

I also saw the SEA of CLOUDS in BOHOL my version haha.

The fun part is the in flight game Cebu Pacific offers. I used to win this but not this time haha! hehe! hoho! LOL

Game on Board CEBU PACIFIC answers about movies :
beauty and the beast
titanic (I knew this but I was not as quick)
alladin

A little turbulence though.

Here comes the crew update:
200nautical miles south of Manila.
34k feet above see level.
5min to descend.
940am arrival time.
902am time check by flight crew.

I was that quick and attentive during the flight.

Arrived Manila at 951am.

Strolling the Parks in Makati

Strolling the Parks in Makati

Makati City is one of the highest earning cities in all of Metro Manila. Most businesses are headquartered in this city. Skyscrapers paint this area and the tallest buildings around Metro Manila are located here.

Condominiums, Upscale malls, high end subdivisions and other classy establishments can be found in Makati. Expect the cost of living here to be high as well. You are surrounded with very busy people and fast-paced environment.

If you want to relax and have some exercise at times, parks are also available in Makati. The owner of this development has preserved some portions of greens and parks for people to enjoy.

It's a breathe of some fresh air in a very busy city like Makati!

Getting around Makati

Jeepney

Some jeepneys ply along specified routes in Makati. Jeepney Terminal is located near SM Makati. The famous malls in Makati are inter-connected by bridges like SM, Glorietta Malls of Ayala, Greenbelt, and Landmark.

Buses

Buses ply along Ayala Avenue where you can board on specified bus stops. These buses can take you to other parts of Metro Manila outside Makati area.

MRT Train

Ayala has one of the MRT Stations. So if you are coming from Quezon City - Quezon Avenue or Kamuning MRT Stations (where ABS CBN and GMA7 headquarters are located) or Pasay City - Taft Station, the MRT would be your best option.

Taxi

For faster travel, you can take the taxi. Taxi stands are available outside the malls. The queue might be long especially during peak hours and holidays when more shoppers go to the mall.
