Strolling the Parks in Makati

Strolling the Parks in Makati

Makati City is one of the highest earning cities in all of Metro Manila. Most businesses are headquartered in this city. Skyscrapers paint this area and the tallest buildings around Metro Manila are located here.

Condominiums, Upscale malls, high end subdivisions and other classy establishments can be found in Makati. Expect the cost of living here to be high as well. You are surrounded with very busy people and fast-paced environment.

If you want to relax and have some exercise at times, parks are also available in Makati. The owner of this development has preserved some portions of greens and parks for people to enjoy.

It's a breathe of some fresh air in a very busy city like Makati!

Jeepney

Some jeepneys ply along specified routes in Makati. Jeepney Terminal is located near SM Makati. The famous malls in Makati are inter-connected by bridges like SM, Glorietta Malls of Ayala, Greenbelt, and Landmark.

Buses

Buses ply along Ayala Avenue where you can board on specified bus stops. These buses can take you to other parts of Metro Manila outside Makati area.

MRT Train

Ayala has one of the MRT Stations. So if you are coming from Quezon City - Quezon Avenue or Kamuning MRT Stations (where ABS CBN and GMA7 headquarters are located) or Pasay City - Taft Station, the MRT would be your best option.

Taxi

For faster travel, you can take the taxi. Taxi stands are available outside the malls. The queue might be long especially during peak hours and holidays when more shoppers go to the mall.

Going back to the Past, Intramuros!

Going back to the Past, Intramuros!

One of the oldest structures you'll ever find in Manila is here in Intramuros. A lot of Philippine's history can be traced back upon visiting this place.

Most educational tours include a trip to Intramuros to refresh the history of this nation that has been colonized by different nations in the past.
